This is Weston. He was born 16 days after he was expected. He is the son of Meredith and Ben Taylor. I was so happy to hear from Meredith when it came time to meet little Taylor. I used to work with Meredith a few years ago before I became a full time photographer. I knew the moment I met her, that she was a sweetheart. We both were mental health support specialists. Our job was supporting adults with intellectual and developmental disabilities. After working together for about a year or so, Meredith announced her plans to move to her husbands family farm in central Maine. I was so happy for her and her future endeavors. I knew that if she was making this move, it was something her heart truly desired. We stayed in touch over the years after that. I watched her updates on the country home they were renovating, and their journey to conceiving baby Taylor. One day Meredith shared a very personal and heartbreaking event. A miscarriage. Those words are something no mother to be ever wants to hear. I was so saddened for Ben and Meredith, my heart hurt for them. I cannot imagine what they went through and experienced. No one deserves to lose a child and feel that kind of pain. As time went on, I couldn't help but keep them in my thoughts. They made beautiful memorabilia in honor of their baby gone too soon. One day a while down the road, I hear of Meredith's pregnancy with Little Taylor, a rainbow baby. A beautiful sweet blessing for these two, a rainbow after the storm. I was so excited when I got to photograph their pregnancy at their beautiful country home. It was a dream the whole time we explored their property and farmland as I photographed them. It was simply the sweetest session.
A few months later,
Meredith reached out to me to come by their home and document their precious little Taylor. His name is Weston and boy is he loved.
