Acadia National Park Elopement | Bar Harbor Maine Photography
Meet Veronica and Jared. They said their vows of commitment to one another this past Sunday, April 22nd, 2018 atop Cadillac Mountain. And I was lucky enough to been given the honor to capture it all!
Veronica and Jared fell in love over a puppy! I asked Veronica how they began dating, and she told me Jared asked her to help him pick out a puppy. Jared knew she loved animals, and from that point on it was history.
Veronica walked down the side of the mountain to meet her soon to be husband, by her father's side.
Fun fact: Cadillac Mountain is the first place in the United States to see the sunrise!
This sweet moment occurred and I couldn't help but capture it. This couple was so happy to have found themselves caught right in the middle of a wedding ceremony and they made sure to cheer loudly in celebration as the two walked by.
Jared's face when he see's his bride for the first time.
Veronica and Jared came all the way across the pond from England to elope here in Maine. And their friends and family traveled from all around the country to join.
The weather couldn't have been any more perfect that day if we asked. The wind was calm, the sky was blue and you could see for miles. Jared and Veronica chose to elope at Acadia National Park because it has always been a goal of Veronica's to visit every National Park in her lifetime. Jared soon joined her in this goal and so far they have seen 6 National Parks together.
Jared picked out the 1920's Victorian engagement ring at a cute little jewelry store in England. He popped the question in Abbey Gardens of Bury St. Edmunds, the town they reside in.
Veronica was truly a show stopper. Her dress was so flowy and perfect for her.
The view and the day was absolutely perfect. And if you want my opinion, I think everyone should elope at the top of a mountain.
