10 Best #PERSPECTIVE | Stories By Us Blog

This week we had a theme of perspectives. I love how you can take one subject and move yourself in a million different ways in relation to it and create so many different stories. I also love seeing the perspectives of two subjects in relation to one another within the frame. This week was also the second time our Photo 101 class met! We went outside and had a model and discussed different settings for proper exposure in different lighting situations to follow up on last weeks harsh light theme. It is a learning process to become a teacher, but I am loving it so much. I really enjoy watching people’s faces light up when they get it. When it ‘clicks’, no pun intended, for my students, it means i’ve conveyed the lesson to my student correctly, and giving them the tools they need to be able to fully express themselves through the lens. Thank you to everyone who participated in the perspective challenge! For this week I have chosen to have the theme be about shutter speed!
