Chris and Bree in front of their home and camper traveling the country together

Hi friends, followers, & previous and future clients!

I wanted to share a newer post about who we are, a little bit about us, and what we’ve been up to! This post was written by me, and me only, so if there are grammatical errors, you know why! haha

You may be wondering who I mean when I say US & WE.

When I first started my photography business and career, it was always just me. But over the last few years, my wonderful husband, Chris, has joined the team and has become an invaluable member! He has been behind the scenes, helping to create epic content of elopements and more! He holds things during photo sessions, brings water, and is simply the greatest support I could ever ask for. Oh, and he’s the best driver for this passenger princess!

Last year, Chris and I spent a lot of time thinking about where we wanted our lives to go and where we envisioned our lives in the coming years. We became full-time RVers over a year ago, and knew we wanted to travel the country in the cold Maine months. We wanted to escape the frigid temps, the seasonal depression, and MUD season. Being Bar Harbor locals, we knew the area basically shut down in the winter, everyone leaves, and it gets dark and cold. We started meeting more and more snowbirds and decided we would find a way to make it work for us.

That’s when Chris decided he wanted to become a small business owner and open his own Mobile Rv repair business. We researched places to get certified, and a school in Texas popped up. Chris sold a lot of his things to pay for his tuition, and before we knew it, we hit the road. We left Maine and traveled to Athens, Texas. And for the entire month of January, Chris attended classes and became a certified RV tech. We made lifelong connections while there, having weekly potluck dinners with our neighbors and his classmates. See, we stayed at the campground attached to the school, so we got the FULL experience. I even worked in the store and cleaned classrooms in trade for our spot! We left Maine with 2 dogs and came back with 3!

After we left Texas, we headed to South Carolina, where we found our second family. We found another incredible workamping gig where we got to stay at an amazing campground in exchange for around 10 hours a week doing photography of life around the campground! We bonded with the owners, the owners’ family and friends, the local farmers, and other campers too. We saw friends and family along the way too! It was truly the best experience; we cried and hugged when we had to leave.

Now, we are back in Bar Harbor for the next 5 months, until November, when we will head back to South Carolina. Chris has become such a regular part of my sessions that I felt this post was a great way to share what we’ve been up to and who has officially joined our team.

Chris is now open for business, doing Acadia Mobile Rv Service on and around the island of MDI and servicing other RVs and campers, and coming along with me to my elopements and sessions. We’ve found that people love seeing him along with me and appreciate that he can hold on to things for us during photo time! They also love the behind-the-scenes content he captures!
