I decided to do a personal blog to recap the year 2018 and everything it gave me. This photo above, I took last night with my beautiful niece. She insists we take photos when we hang out, and she says she wants to be a photographer when she grows up! I love how this image turned out, it really brings out her freckles.
I’ve experienced a lot of change this year, and most of it was GREAT! I pushed myself further than I ever thought I could. I made a lot of hard decisions, moved out on my own, and celebrated 1 year full time. It was amazing traveling to all the corners of the state this summer for weddings. And once wedding season ended I picked up on births and a fire was lit.
I was featured in a lot of inspiring blogs, magazines, and accounts! I witnessed a TON of beautiful moments. I gained a lot of friends, and lost some too. I networked with incredible people and made some awesome connections. Lots of seeds were planted and roots ready to grow. And to wrap this year up, I have been offered a position as a photography teacher for RSU 19 Nokomis Adult Ed in Newport, Maine for the spring semester! It will only be a few hours a week so it won’t take me away from what really matters, my business. But I am so excited to begin sharing my passion with students! Below are picks for my favorite shots captured this year!
