Love Stories in Acadia
Love Stories in Acadia
Over the years, I’ve had the absolute honor of photographing some of the most beautiful, raw, and unforgettable love stories. Each one entirely unique, yet tied together by one thing: Acadia National Park.
From misty mountaintop vows in Acadia to beachfront elopements and quiet forest ceremonies with just the birds for witnesses, I’ve been lucky enough to be present for moments that stop time. These stories aren’t just about wedding days, they’re about people. The laughter, the tears, the wind in their hair, the nerves, the peace. It’s the in-between moments that get me every time.
There was the couple who eloped on Cadillac Mountain, through the fog, whispering their vows completely in love.
The ones who said ‘I do’ at Jordan Pond with their closest loved ones nearby. The couple that started in Ellsworth getting ready and had some of their closest friends and family witness as they said their vows over the Atlantic Ocean.
Every story I document teaches me something new about love, about presence, and about the power of choosing a day that feels right instead of one that just looks right. Whether it’s climbing rocks in a wedding dress, stopping for lobster rolls in full tuxedo, or pausing mid-ceremony to soak in the silence, these moments are what I live for.
These aren’t just wedding photos—they’re fragments of legacy. And I never take that lightly.
To every couple who’s trusted me with their story: thank you. I carry each of you with me, camera in hand, always ready for whatever beautiful moment comes next.
