Pownal Maine Wedding Photography

I love how every wedding I get to photograph is always so different and unique from the last! And Amanda & Jameson’s day was certainly one I will not soon forget. I actually got lots of personal ideas for my own wedding when I attended their ceremony! The couple decided to say their vows on their own property in Pownal, Maine in a small space up behind their home. The ceremony was so amazing as Amanda walked herself through a short wooded trail, she met her closest friends and family as they gathered in a circle around an unlit fireplace. Each of their parents lit a torch and passed it on to them, to light the fire. Guests threw in small boxes filled with nature to add to the fire and as they each added their pieces, they said a little wedding wish for the couple. Amanda and Jameson said their vows and exchanged rings, followed by their siblings draping a rope over their hands and the officiant finishing tieing the knot. They sealed the ceremony and their promises with a kiss and walked around the fire as their friends and family congratulated them. We got to take some really beautiful photos of everyone and the couple on their special day. After we took photos, more guests arrived for the reception and dinner and the rest was history. Congratulations to them both on a long life of love and happiness together.
